    Default Another Newbie

Hi all. I am a newbie both to this forum, and to smoking cigars in general. You can't really call the swisher sweets and phillies that I smoked back in high school cigars.

I am 28 years old, from Massachusetts. I'm an operations manager for a logstics company.

I just finished seasoning my new himidor, now I'm ready to fill it. I have about 50 cigars, various brands. Room for about 100 more. I am still trying pretty much everything I can get my hands on, trying to decide what I really like. I seem to be leaning towards the more mild cigars. Some early favorites of mine include: 5 Vegas "Gold and A's", Gurka Ancient Warrior, Various Rocky Patel, Romeo y Julieta Reserve Maduro and Vintage, etc.

There are a WHOLE lot more that I need and want to try. I did get to enjoy a Partagas 150 with my father before he moved to Texas. What a great smoke that was.

I have some Carlos Torano Virtuoso that I just picked up, as well as some Partagas Spanish Rosado. I smoke a couple to a few times a week, looking like it's heading towards daily.

I'm happy to say that reading here, you guys saved me from wasting my money on Acid's.

This looks like a good forum, I've lurked here for a few days now and read a bunch. I'll likely be spending a lot more time here.

Welcome to the board. The Torano Virtuosos are good but strong smokes. I'm not sure about the Partagas Spanish Rosado, been wanting to try one though. It shouldn't take you very long to fill up that humidor.

    Thanks for the welcome, all.

I guess I'll keep it to myself that I thought the macanudo potofino's were okay.
