    Default CAO Escaparate Costa Rican

CAO Escaparate Costa Rican Belicoso Maduro.
These are a Proprietary cigar from Corona cigars. I have searched the site and found no reviews.
Has anyone tried these? At $80.00 a fiver, they are not cheap.
They also have one from Ecuador. I have become a fan of CAO, but don’t want to waste $80.00 on a sub-par smoke.

Remember that CAO does not make cigars. They are a marketing company . No cao is worth that coin IMHO

Thank you. I would have wasted $80.00

I am afraid that this is not correct.

First, CAO has always been more than just a marketing company. In the past, they have blended ther own smokes and overseen production of their cigars by top notch manufacturers such as Carlos Torano

Second, CAO now owns their own factory is Esteli Nicaragua

Hey, I am no CAO ho and that seems like a lot for a 5 pack of smokes I have never heard of. Everybody's entitled to their opinion but, let's try to keep the facts straight.

I've seen you around. This is not a wise way to make your first post on this board. That is a fact.

So it's better just to let people be deceived?

Hey I'm just trying to keep it real..and if an existing factory isn't a stone cold fact I don't know what is.

Fact - CAO is really good at marketing
Fact - CAO makes pretty bands and boxes

Opinion - Most of CAO's smokes are overpriced and average
Opinion - CAO makes a few decent cigars
Opinion - You are not the corresponding cigar authority and therefore should not be questioning the validity of people's opinions

Those are just some of the facts and some of my opinions.
Smoke em' if you got em'

So K7 was "deceiving" others with his post? Interesting.

BTW, do you often bust into an unfamiliar place and begin correcting the residents in a relatively condescending manner? Does it work for you more often than not?

How about an introduction before you try and correct anyone here. Honestly even after an introduction from you I couldn't care less what your "opinion" is because you're an asshat. I trust K7's opinion more than anything that you could ever say because he's an established member here. You on the other hand are not.

I have only had 1 each of the following CAO smokes:Gold, Italia samba, and Brazilia (dont remember which one), and enjoyed all of them. That said: All of your info on CAO is new to me so thank you all.

Simply put, the people of this forum tend to be harsh to anyone who has not introduced themselves. Contradicting an established member here would generally be seen as an insult. Regardless of the validity of anything that you would say, it will be interpreted as disrespectful. This forum has rules and the members here tend to enforce them aggressively. I don't mean this as an ultimatum, but if you intend to stay here, your best course of action is to apologize and post an introduction (It doesn't matter if you think what you did was wrong). The members here seem to forgive and forget quickly enough. Otherwise if intend to stay without an apology or introduction, then prepare to have a difficult time interacting here.

There was no need for this leg-humping bullshit. Geesh, why don't you read a little more and stay the fuck out of threads like this for awhile?
